Choose the Right Trading Strategy is Important

Choosing the Right Trading Strategy is Important.Vanilla contains multiple cryptocurrencies (such as BTC) as underlying assets. As the current market price, target price and remaining expiration time of the underlying assets change, the execution price will also change accordingly. You can participate in the predictions of cryptocurrency price trends and earn profits when your prediction is correct by simply and intuitively selecting a variety of trades with Long/Short directions, different underlying assets (such as BTC), target prices, and settlement times.

Long

If you predict that the price of the underlying asset will rise above the target price at settlement date, you can choose Long trade. If the prediction is accurate, you will receive the corresponding settlement earnings.

For example: User A purchased a Long BTC with a target price of $65,000. The price of the trade was 100 USDT. If the BTC price rises above the target price at settlement (for example, to $66,000), user A can earn the price difference above the target price as profit. The earnings are calculated as follows:

  • Purchase cost: 100 USDT

  • Trade earnings: 1,000 USDT(65,000 - 66,000)

  • Net income: 900 USDT(1,000 -100)

  • The rate of return: 900%

  • Note: If the price of BTC is lower than the target price at settlement date (for example, it falls to $64,000), then User A will only lose 100 USDT he paid for the trade.

Short

If you predict that the price of the underlying asset will fall below the target price at settlement date, you can choose Short trade. If the prediction is accurate, you will receive the corresponding settlement earning.

For example: User B purchased a Short BTC with a target price of $65,000. The price of the trade was 100 USDT. If the BTC price falls below the target price at settlement (for example, to $64,000), User B can earn the price difference below the target price as profit. The earnings are calculated as follows,

  • Purchase cost:100 USDT

  • Trade earning:1,000 USDT(65,000 - 64,000)

  • Net income: 900 USDT(1,000 -100)

  • The rate of return: 900%

  • Note: If the price of BTC is higher than the target price at settlement date (for example, it rises to $66,000), then User B will only lose the 100 USDT he paid for the trade.
